I don't trust Pro Tools' ARA ability at all. Can you still use VocAlign 6 as Audiosuite?

Im looking for a tool that can align KIDS voices to Adult Male or female audios... most of the time the kids will be speaking slower (even though the line is the same) can I use this tool to have the kids speak at the same rate as the adult versions of the same audio track? will there be any artifacts?

Did u really just state that "Vocalign will work the same no matter which format or DAW u are working in"? 😅 Thats a 100% lies!! It does mot work natively on LOGIC. It does not show capture buttons or groups. Unless and maybe just maybe, unless you compromize and open your whole DAW in Rosetta 😂😂 Really.. I knew the 400bucks were super high already. But 400bucks for something that LITERALLY doesn't even run properly is a joke!! Nahh.. behave ur self. Absolute joke of a company.

How to use protected areas

I have a trouble that my PC can not use the alt+ctrl to change zoom y scale ,this makes it very inconvenient for me,so this is because the system is not compatible or bug?😖😖

Seeing him have to add a sync point made me decide to not bother trying this plugin. Just do the manual work if you gotta do work in this plugin anyway...

When I apply this in ableton one of my tracks is muted?? So I'll have three instances of the plugin, one of them on the vocal I want to side-chain everything else to and the other two on two other vocal tracks which are side-chained to that vocal. Of those two other tracks, only one of them will be able to be heard. Does this straight up just not work if you've got more than two vocal tracks?

I just upgraded to pro 6 “Summertime sale” From ultra it was $87 Should it have been a free update? Perhaps but the ARA feature in ProTools improves my work flow I never cared for it in Audio Suite So worth it for me under $100 And your talking about a guy who still uses an iPhone 8 I only buy what I need 3 cameras on my phone eh not so much Right click ARA VA pro 6 with editor gui 👍

An option to delete the cache of the current project would be helpful for starters. To just be able to Capture things again, when it doesn't work. Yes, I know I can delete in the finder.

I love what Vocalign does when it does what it's supposed to. But getting it to work is very difficult.

No offense guys, but I just got Revoice Pro 5 and it's just not good. I hate the work flow. Frankly, it made me resolve to just sing tigher. I wish I'd saved the money.

All of the features are helpful but please the UI is just god awful. Hopefully they can rework the UI in the next version to become just a little bit more easier to navigate.

I can read a lot of negative comments. It's not good. For you Revoice is quite far from Melodyne in terms of ease of use, visual ergonomics, and, in my case, integration with Cubase Pro. Revoice exhibits erratic behavior, opens empty windows, and processes things however it wants. You try to close it and it refuses to shut down; you have to force quit. This might have been acceptable in software from 1998, but in today’s world, such glitches are simply inexcusable. I’m a user of a Revoice Pro 5 license, and it is incredibly disappointing. I thought I was investing in a powerful VocAlign, but now, I consider it a total dud. It’s a product that costs way more than it's worth. I wish it worked like it appears here... But on my 2019 Mac... it doesn't. I don’t recommend it at all. It seems easy, but nothing works as promised in the tutorial. And by the way, their support deserves an honorary mention for a failing grade. Congratulations for nothing. And... A 618 page manual!!! Are we crazy?? There are DAWs with less pages!! Something that has 618 pages of manual...not is a nice thing.

I would really appreciate the feature of exporting the audio once the plugin does its job. This is very cpu heavy and prevents me from using it on all of my tracks ( I record crowds and choirs a lot)

ARA integration is great, but coming from Ultra that upgrade price is too damn high!

2:38. Surely, if a human can see the joined notes and go in and cut them, the program could also? Ok it's probably not that easy, but I presently use Waves Tune and that seems to automatically separate all notes without issue? Also, because the horizontal note zone bands aren't coloured to show the scale of the song, you can't see at a glance if a note has been pulled to the wrong pitch. Also, in Waves Tune, I can play the notes by pressing on the piano roll down the side. This enables me to quickly find what the correct notes should be. I find like I'm working blind in Revoice (trial) I can't tell what the right note should be? I'm presently trialing doing the initial tuning of the main guide vocal in Waves Tune. Committing the audio and then using that within Revoice to tune/align all the doubles and harmonies. It would be awesome if I could do it all in Revoice though. I adore the shaper tool and the draw tool is smooth.

Is there a way to easily show what notes are correctly within the scale/Key? I.E. A way to shade the horizontal note zones that are within the scale of the song/section? I presently use Waves Tune and I'm currently beginning trialing Revoice Pro 5. I'm having problems transitioning because in Waves Tune I'm used to being able to see when the notes of the melody fall either inside or outside the key. Simply because the horizontal note zones are shaded different. Also, in Waves Tune, you can play the notes by pressing the piano scale along the right hand side. This let's me be able to find what the correct notes should be for the melody. It's early days, but at the moment, in Revoice I'm staring at the melody, blind to what needs fixing.

Actually getting the thing to work well is difficult. Revoice Pro could be less clunky and more intuitive, more obvious and needs a light option on the GUI, which is black and looks bad, confused and jumbled. To be honest, I've been using it in ARA2 for years in Cubase. Because of these problems, I usually reach for Melodyne, which is cleaner, clearer and off the bat, gets better results. I'm not happy to have to do this, because I bought Revoice Pro and it's not cheap at all, but it's so clunky and unreliable I have to go back to Melodyne, because it's all about workflow and speed in a pro studio. Sorry, that's just the truth. The GUI needs a complete redesign from the bottom up.

I downloaded a trial of Revoice for PT and I don't see the ARA version. I have the most updated version of PT 2025.6 Ultimate.

I agree with Marco. First off, I upgraded from Project 5 TO Ultra in Dec 2023. So now, to upgrade to Version 6 Pro, it's $169! SCREW THAT! haha....I agree again, that this UPDATE should be free with my Ultra, and only from 6 mos ago. BUT for my fellow commenters, this is nothing new from these blood-sucking, money-grubbing Plugin Vendors. I get inundated with "Upgrade Requests" from too many of them, probably partly my own fault for buying too many plugins to begin with! ONE other culprit right now is Izotope with their upgrades from 10 to 11. No thank you to any of these folks. I also see this in other areas of the music industry in trying to pawn off even courses, like audio mixing/mastering courses by some folks. I can also tell by the discounts they are ALL offering, like Izotope's $29 Offer for NeoVerb, with its ridiculous LP of about $199 or so. Like I really need another ANYTHING Plugin! I believe this crap economy we're all in is the ROOT cause of it, as I've even seen all these vendors and companies with "extending the Sales Period" offers. They all have to be hurting. Hence, get out those UPGRADES no matter WHAT! Sorry Charlie, no dice here. PLUS I buy most s/w from Sweetwater, as they have an actual competent TS DEPT! Let's ALL SEE how long the price stays at $169! Dreamers.
